How To Properly Wear A Face Mask During The COVID-19 Pandemic

COVID-19 is still here along with its new variants, and we all still need to be wearing a Medical Mask. It is just as imperative now if not more than it was at the start of the pandemic to protect yourself and others in helping prevent the further spread of the coronavirus and its new variants.

While you should be frequently washing your hands, using hand sanitizer, covering your coughs and sneezes, and practicing social distancing, wearing Sterile Surgical Face Masks is the essential step you should also take to stay safe. You can also consider wearing a Face Shield and Protective Medical Gloves for added measure.

The virus can spread via respiratory droplets between people interacting in closeness, such as sneezing, coughing, or talking. As new variants of COVID-19 seem to be emerging all around the globe, wearing a Medical Mask in public can help protect others if you are infected with the COVID-19 and do not know it, since you can transmit the virus to others before showing symptoms. Even people who have received a COVID-19 vaccine should be wearing masks.

Medical Masks help prevent exposure to COVID-19. You should make sure the mask fits to cover your mouth, chin and nose. If you set the Medical Mask to cover those areas, wash your hands before and after. In fact, wearing a mask may not keep you from getting COVID-19, it can help lower the odds.

If you are sick or feel unwell, a Medical Mask can help keep your germs from infecting others. If you are healthy, a Medical Mask can help keep respiratory droplets from someone who is sick from infecting you. Wearing a Medical Mask offers protection while not wearing one offers none. Do your part to protect yourself and others by wearing proper Medical PPE, practice social distancing, and follow your local guidelines.

Below is a visual guideline of do’s and don’ts that can show you how to properly wear a Medical Mask:
